Carrathool Shire Council Waste Facilities
Carrathool Shire Council has 3 landfill sites (garbage tips) located in Hillston, Rankins Springs and Carrathool. Merriwagga and Goolgowi landfill sites have been converted to transfer stations with access to existing pits being restricted and residents encouraged to utilise bins and signed areas provided.
